Meet the Palma Guidance Staff
Mr. Brunet has been a member of the Palma faculty since 1993. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Missouri, Columbia and a Master of Science (MSEd) degree in Counseling from Saint Bonaventure University, Olean, NY, as well as a California PPS Credential in Counseling. Mr. Brunet is the school Testing Coordinator and National Honor Society Advisor. He also Teaches Business Applications in the Computer Science Department.

Mrs. Short has been a member of the Palma Faculty since 2000. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a business minor, from Fresno State University and a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from San Jose State University. She also has her PPS credential in Counseling from San Jose State University. In addition to counseling, Mrs. Short teaches 7th grade Literature.

Father Joel is in his third year with the Palma counseling staff. He also serves as the campus Chaplain. A priest of the Diocese of Monterey, Father Joel holds a BS degree in Behavioral Science and an MA degree in Educational Counseling from Ateneo de Manila University, a Jesuit institution in the Philippines. He also has an MA degree in Theological Studies from the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley.

Mr. Beesley has been a member of the Palma faculty since 2001. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Gonzaga University and a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica. In addition to counseling, Mr. Beesley also teaches 12th grade Theology classes and the Advisor for the Junior State of America Club.
