Journal: Finish Five significant characters have been introduced-Montag, Clarisse, Mildred, Beattie, and Faber. Make a chart listing what motivates each of these characters. Write as many motivations as you can think of--three minimum for each one.
Writing: Outline for Topic Sentence below using the format TS, CD, CM, CM, CD, CM,CM, CD, CM, CM, CS
TS: Captain Beatty, the fire chief, is the antagonist in Farenheit 451, and he demontrates his opposition to Montag, the protagonist, forcing Montag to reevaluate himself.
CD= a quote, paraphrased or integrated as a direct quote, that shows Montag reevaluating himself as a result of his interaction with Captain Beatty.
