Welcome to Advanced Placement World Literature. This course is a concentration the the literary works from around the world. It focuses on an in-depth analysis of the works by a variety of authors. The class also emphasizes the continued development of writing and analtical skills through specific assignments based upon the subject matter. One of the main purposes of this class is to foster independent thinking. For that reason the class takes a seminar format, and the students take responsibility for themselves as they read and discuss in their seminar groups the various works that are assigned.
