Use the first 2 pages of your lab notebook as an Index page. Label as follows:

Labs (Subsequent pages)

Format for all subsequent labs. The note book should be written so a person unfamiliar with the lab could read it and duplicate it with no problems. This is what your graded on. Total points = 20.

    
       
    1. Purpose/Problem:  (4 points)

            State the purpose of what your trying to do. (1 point)
           
            Answer pre-lab questions (3 points)
           
    2. Materials: (1 point)
           
            List all material used in lab/investigation.

    3. Procedure: (5 points)
           
            List, in correct order, the step by step instructions.

    4. Data: (2 points)
           
            Copy the table in your lab book or create a table for your data. Orginization is extremely important.

    5. Analysis: (3 points)

             Place calculations of data used in this section.

    6. Conclusions: (5 points)

             Answer questions from your lab book or write a summary of your results.
