Attention: Parents of Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors

The next CSF Application Membership wil take place in September 2008!

(CSF stands for the CALIFORNIA SCHOLARSHIP FEDERATION)

DID YOU KNOW......that CSF Life Members*:

a) will receive special recognition at the Palma High School Graduation Ceremony in June and will wear gold CSF Life Member cords along with their caps and gowns!

b) will also have official CSF Life Member gold seals affixed to their diplomas!

c) will receive membership pins at the Palma High School Academic Awards Night in May.

*In order to be classified as a Life Member, a student must acquire CSF membership status based on four of his last six semesters of high school, one of which must be as a senior. Students must reapply each and every semester for which they qualify.

YOUR SON MUST ACT SOON.......

In order to become or stay a CSF member, your son must:

a) be eligible**

b) fill out a simple application with semester grades from his

Spring 2008 Semester report card and with a parent signature by the

Deadline to Mr. Rawson.

The deadline to submit his application is 3:00 PM on Friday, September 12, 2008.

Applications will only be accepted in the main office. Applications must be given directly into the hands of Mr. Rawson, Mrs. Val, Mrs. Palmer, or Mrs. Tawfik.

Semester eligibility for membership is primarily based on a special CSF grade point system (not GPA) that is spelled out on the application form. The applications will be distributed to Palma students on Wednesday, September 10, 2008.
